Stoney Creek Hunt for Good is a not-for-profit culling wild deer and providing community groups and food banks with venison donations and wild game meat while managing deer populations sustainably.

By working with experienced volunteer hunters, landowners, and local businesses, we ensure that nutritious, high-quality meat reaches families in need. Our mission is to restore ecological balance while providing a valuable food source to communities across New Zealand. Currently providing the Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay and Manawatu Regions and expanding quickly.

The Heart of Hunt For Good

At Stoney Creek Hunt for Good, we're more than hunters. We’re a team of volunteers working to turn a problem into a solution. By harvesting wild venison from overpopulated herds, we help feed families doing it tough and protect the land for future generations.

With the support of landowners, local businesses, and everyday Kiwis, we’re creating a sustainable cycle, one where no meat goes to waste and every effort strengthens our communities. Join us in making a real, lasting difference.

"We recognized a gap in food banks and a challenge in managing the deer population. By addressing both, we’re nourishing communities and restoring balance to the land."
